'LABORERS RIDE FOR CHARITY'

On Saturday, August 21 the Minnesota Laborers Union will hold their 7th Annual Laborers Ride for Charity motorcycle benefit ride event. Over the previous six years, the ride has generated over $34,000 for the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) of the Twin Cities..
Money raised comes from registration fees for riders, donations from Signatory Contracotrs, the Laborers District Council, Laborers Locals 132 and 563, Minnesota LECET and others. Proceeds help provide assistance to families with seriously ill children through the RMH charities.

Annual Contractor BBQ Event Set for September 10, 2010
Minnesota LECET and the Laborers Training Center have announced an improved program for the 2010 Annual Contractor Appreciation BBQ event. Mark your calendar for Friday, Sept. 10 at the Laborers Training Center in Lino Lakes, Minnesota. Once again, LECET will announce and present the Annual Safety Driven Contractor Awards for those contractors participating in the program.
